The Carrier Outside Air draws in ventilation air into the space to provide fresh air. The units are installed in plenum and can be connected to a heat pump or heat recovery system along with other styles of indoor unit.

The 40VMA outside air duct is matched with the 38VMR heat recovery or the 38VMH heat pump and the 40MV9 series controllers.
